The situation
Landlords with several properties juggle leases, payments and paperwork across tools, and each province has its own tenancy rules.
What was hard
Three provinces mean three sets of regulatory templates. Payments bring a third-party vendor to integrate. Landlords upload documents in every format, and parsing them with AI must not open a security hole.
What Pratyank did
- Shipped a React Native mobile app and a web client on a shared multi-tenant Firestore backend with role-based access.
- Integrated payments, plus province-specific templates and automated lease generation.
- Built AI automations for landlords and property managers, including sending notices and handling maintenance requests, plus an AI agent that lets them use the platform’s features without opening the app.
- Built a self-learning document parser: AI writes extraction rules from uploaded documents, refines them over time, and runs them in a sandbox to protect the platform.
- Owns deployment, debugging and production support, and drove adoption with bulk tenant onboarding and portfolio reporting.
What changed
In beta, landlords onboard whole portfolios at once and generate leases that follow each province’s rules. Onboarding a portfolio takes only a few minutes.
